These groups
comprise of Directors and Senior Executives of Multi
national Companies who are eager to get away from their busy
business and work schedule to rejuvenate themselves and get
rid of the stress and strain they are into due to the work
pressure.
A relaxed and a peaceful trouble free holiday in the desert
ranging from 8 to 10 days with two days in a Hotel gives
them the satisfaction they are longing for.
They are dropped at Al Minthrib in 4 wheel drive vehicles.
They cover a distance of 40 to 50 kms daily walking and
riding the camel when tired. Each member of the group is
provided with a camel and an experienced Bedouin guide fully
conversant with the desert who accompanies the group. They
camp out at intermediate points for their overnight stay.
They relax under the moon and the stars till they are ready
to fall asleep in their camps which are set up by them on a
daily basis at the location of their overnight stay. A four
wheel drive pick-up follows the group with the camping
equipment, groceries, fruits/vegetables and dry ration. The
cook who accompanies the group prepares meals during the
entire programme in the Desert.
On the last day they are picked up from Qahid by 4 wheel
drive vehicles and driven to MUSCAT or Al Sawadi on the
tarmac road for overnight stay. The first day they overnight
in MUSCAT and on the following morning they are taken on a
sightseeing tour of MUSCAT by Air Conditioned coach. After
lunch they proceed to Al Minthrib by 4 Wheel drive vehicles.
The last day they check into a Hotel in Al Sawadi or MUSCAT
for overnight stay. The next day late evening the group is
transferred to the Airport for flight home. They leave Oman
with pleasant memories of their life time holiday fully
rejuvenated.

Oman is an
untapped destination for Geologist study groups with diverse
mix of mountains, alluvial plains, costal areas and deserts
with natural reserves such as oil, natural gas, radioactive
materials, rocks, lime stones, Gypsum etc. There is immense
potential in Oman for geologist survey groups.
These groups comprise of Geologist teachers and senior
students of Geology from Universities / Colleges headed by
their Professors. The groups are small size ranging from 20
to 30 persons. They are provided with self drive 4 Wheel
Drive vehicles with an additional vehicle carrying the
camping equipment, cooking utensils & rations driven by our
experienced tour guide. They are provided tent accommodation
at various Geologist sites in the interior for their
overnight stay. They are provided meals specially prepared
by our cook.
The common places visited by these groups are WADI AL JIZZI,
SOHAR MINING, JABAL HAFIT, JABAL AL HAYNAH,AL WASITI, AZ
ZURUB, WADI HAYMILYA, WADI AL AMAYNAH, WADI AL ASDANI, WADI
MABRAH, WADI BANI GHAFIR, WADI BANI KHARUS, JEBAL SAIH HATAT,
SIFA.
In the above places they examine the earths materials,
structures, processes and organisms. They learn to recognise
the types of rocks that are deposited in these near show
environments and recognise potential oil and natural gas
source. They also collect samples for research in the
laboratories, classrooms / universities back home.
The package provided to these groups cover full board during
their camping, 4 wheel drive vehicles with limited mileage
per day and accommodation in Muscat on Bed and Breakfast
basis on the first and the last day. Fuel and extra mileage
charges are based on actuals which is recovered from the
group on the spot.
