1 Night/2 Days- Overnight at Nizwa
Day 1 Drive to Nizwa, the ancient capital in the interior.
Shop for souvenirs in its famous souq where silver and
coppersmiths hammer out exquisite pieces of jewellery and
other items. Pick up a traditional khanjar, curved Omani
daggers, coffee pots and copper vessels. Step into the past
at the Nizwa Fort. Lunch at the Nizwa Motel.
A short while later, start out for jabrin, the city famous
for its fine castles and forts, once the seat of learning.
Procees to Bahla, the walled town noted for its pottery and
black magic. Stop at the Al Hamra village and round off the
day with a visit to the Tanuf Mineral Water Plant. Overnight
at the Nizwa Motel.
Day 2 Next morning start early for Sur, the historical port
town and fishing village, famous for its ship-building
activities in the traditional manner. Then move into the
Wahiba Sands for an awesome experience of true desert life
and Mudhairib town.

2.
The Loop |

(Bama Sinkhole-
White Beach- Wadi Shab- Ras Al Had- Wadi Bani Khalid- Wahiba
Sands)
1 Night/ 2 Days- Overnight at Ras Al-Had
Day 1 Airport/hotel pick-up. Drive down the coast via
Qurayat, the Bama sinkhole and white beach. Picnic lunch.
See the amazingly lush oasis that is Wadi Shab, swim in
pools of fresh water. Overnight at Ras Al-Had hotel (turtle
beach).
Day 2 After breakfast, a drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, and
Wahiba sands (4x4dune rides & Camels). Picnic lunch Return
to Muscat.
Note: bring plenty of sunscreen, good shoes, and swimming
trunks.

3.
The Twin Peaks |
|
(Wadi Bani Auf-
Snake gorge- Bilad Seef- Jabal Shams- Jibreen- Nizwa- Birkat
Al-Mouz- Jabal Akhdar)
1 Night/ 2 Days- Overnight at Jabal Shams
Day 1Airport/hotel pick-up. A drive up some of the steepest
roads in the country, through Wadi Bani Auf, snake gorge,
Bilad Seet, Jabal Shams – the highest point in Oman. Night
at the Jabal Shams Motel.
Day 2 After breakfast, we set off to the Jibreen fort, Nizwa
souq/fort, Birkat Al-Mouz, Jabal Akhdar. Return to Muscat.

4.
Turtle Trails |
|
(Ras Al Hadd-
Ras Al Junayz)
1 Night/ 2 days- Overnight at Ras Al Junayz
Day 1 Drive from Muscat at noon to Al Qabil for a short
break. Continue on to Ras Al Junayz to our comfortable
campsite. Dine on a BBQ dinner and then leave for a night
watch of turtles emerging from the sea to their nesting
site. The species are protected on the entire stretch of
beach. Return to camp for the night.
Day 2 The crack of dawn, return to the beach to see late
nesters and new hatchlings before returning to camp. After
breakfast travel on to Ras Al Hadd, pausing at several small
fishing violllages along the coastline, lagoons and bays.
Stop at Sur for a brief visit to the dhow building yard,
befor ereturing to Muscat along the a scenic coastal drive,
arriving late evening.

5.
Arabian Nights |
|
(Wahiba Sands Bedouin)
1 Night/2 Days- Wahiba Sands
Day 1 - Leave Muscat in the afternoon for the famous Wahiba
Sands Desert. Arrive at our authentic Bedouin village
campsite in time to enjoy a leisurely camel ride before you
settle down to enjoy a desert sunset. A sumptuous BBQ buffet
dinner is then laid out for your gastronomic delight. Later,
relax around the campfire under a canopy of stars before you
retire for the night.
Day 2 – After breakfast go for a thrilling sand dune drive
that allows you to experience the true meaning of desert
life. Then visit a local Bedouin family ‘Barasati’ home and
get first hand knowledge of Omani hospitality with kahwa
(coffee) and sweet dates. Return to camp for a cold buffet
lunch before you leave for Muscat in the early evening.

6.
Summer Springs |
|
(Nakhal, Rustaq,
Barka, Al Hazm, Sohar, Al Suwadi Beach, Naseem Park)
0900 – 1700 hrs. Overnight at Sohar
Visit the famous hot springs of Nakhal and its fort used as
a base to drive out the Portuguese from Oman. Drive to
Rustaq and its extensive date farms and then on to Barka, a
town famous for its weaving and bullfights.
Onwards to Al Hazm and its historical fort, an outstanding
example of fine Omani architecture. Stop for the night at
Sohar Hotel. At Al Suwadi Beach, take a refreshing boat trip
along the coastline. Finally visit the large well planned
gardens of Naseem Park.
